Emotional wreck??

So, I started a new birth control about a month ago(Nuvaring) and I've been having emotional moments way too often. Two times I've had to go home from work because of uncontrollable crying. Does anyone have an idea of when it'll calm down? I'm considering quitting my job just it's so stressful and my manager doesn't seem to care.

I've been on Nuvaring since June 2016 (it's now October 2016) and my depression/anxiety has also worsened (new job,work,city,SO is miles away from me).

Since Nuvaring releases hormones it could be that you are dealing with that, and it could also be what I call "phantom periods/pains/mood swings" during that time of the month in which I would normally menstrate.

Either way I would talk to your Gyno bout your moods, see if your vitamins and primary health is okay..and please speak to a counselor to help you through this difficult time! You are not alone 💜

I was emotional on birth control too but I was on the pill. I stayed on it for a few more months to see if I would go back to normal. I went off because I couldn't handle it anymore 😕
