Frizzy & thick hair?

Any tips on simple hair styles?? Thanks ladies I've never been good with doing my hair, it's a little passed shoulder length extremely frizzy & thick!

This works for me but since I don't have hair exactly like yours the results may be different. 
1. I make sure that my hair is damp (not wet) and I put it into a ponytail.
2. I wait for about an hour and then take the ponytail out. The result for me is fairly straight hair with a slight curl on the ends.
