Can't pump but can breastfeed!?!?

Question

So for a while I thought I had a low supply but when I pump almost nothing comes out but my baby has been breastfeeding still, all day and night without complaints. 
Did this happen to anyone? Why does this happen? 
Also, I introduced her to soup and other milk (formula) as I can't take anything out, she needs other alternatives. The soup has been fine until now. She's been vomiting the other milk - has allergies to cow milk. By the advice of the doctor she will try a special milk, but now she rejecting soup, and every bottle she encounters!! 
She only wants my breasts poor thing... Has this happened to anyone? 
She's 5 months and a half, been gaining healthy weight ever since birth.

Not everyone can pump, the ONLY things that indicate a low supply are weight loss and not enough wet nappys. Your baby doesn't need formula or soup. Breast is best, keep   Boobin mumma your doing a great job! 😊

I don't let down for the pump (maybe an ounce or two if my breasts are super full) but I refused to give formula and had to go back to work when baby girl was 7 weeks old so I had to stock up somehow. I always leak from the side baby isn't latched onto so I decided to pump from the side she isn't eating from WHILE she eats. I get 5-7 ounces depending on how long it's been since I last pumped. It's difficult since she's a squirmy 6 month old but it works and works well! I have to sit all kinds of weird to have her supported and have the pump just right but it's the only way I pump enough and empty my breasts.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you trying the formula and soup if she's nursing just fine and gaining weight? If your milk supply is good, I'd try a different pump or try to hand express(Google techniques). I usually can get 2/3oz depending on how full I am after nursing.

Have you tried supplement formula ?,its for breastfed babies.. Its gental on there tummies. We use enfamil supplement and bf

Maybe it's the type of pump you're using? Some aren't as powerful as others and even the strongest ones aren't as good as the baby actually nursing. Sometimes you have to go through and try different formulas before you get to one she doesn't spit up. Try to sign up for samples or see if your pediatrician has any so you don't have to spend so much money going through different formulas.

You shouldn't feed babies any other food until they are 6 months because their digestive system can't handle it, unless it's specifically made for newborns.
