Did you know you were in labor when you had your first baby?

Question

I've heard from a few friends that didn't know at all until their water broke. I think I'll be more aware since I've been researching this stuff everyday lol but I'm wondering what other moms first l&d experiences were like !

With my first yes, I went to OB floor, they did the check told me to go home that I wasn't and I should take a warm bath. Needless to say that didn't help 1 bit, was back at the hospital within an hour. Well I went back they admitted me, about 11pm. And by 8:25am she was here!

My 2nd I was induced.

I didnt. Till i was like 5cm. After that though i completely,knew lmao. But i went in to get checked just random cause i was 41wk and i had been in labor for a while.

I didn't know that I was in labour but I knew something was off with my 1st I just could not get comfortable and when I tried to sit down it wasent happing and then you realize your in labour when you get that 1st really ouchie contraction

I had light contractions that started off like period cramps.  My OB suggested I stay home and labor as long as possible.  So I did and walked and bounced to help it go quicker.  Once I couldn't take the pain and right before I left my water slightly broke I went to the hospital. I was already 7cm which was awesome I didn't have to Labor for hours uncomfortable in the hospital!
