Where are you installing baby's car seat?

I'll find out when I get my blazer where all the kids will go since this one coming will make 3 in car seats. My 6yo is still in a 5point harness. I have a 1yo bonus in a rearfacing convertible and I'll have baby in an infant seat. General rule is least protected in the middle but that doesn't always work for everyone. If I can work it my set up will be, 1yo rfing behind driver, 6yo ffing harness in middle and baby behind passenger, but if that won't work then 6yo behind driver, 1yo in middle and baby behind passenger.

I vote middle because in my car it's really hard to get the whole backseat warm/cool but there is a vent on my dash board that faces the middle so who ever is right there keeps warm or cool.

My local car seat technician said in newer cars it doesn't matter where you put car seats, they are all equally safe. So my toddler is on the drivers side and our newborn will be on the passenger side

I have a 3 row seating with Captain seats in 2nd row so my baby will be on drivers side since it's our first so it's less time consuming walking get around the car and general rule of thumb is the driver will protect their side first in possible accident so I feel they'd be safer.

Passenger side. I have a van that has a sliding door on one side (passenger side) I don't have a bench seat in the middle or if put him there.

In our suv/crossover type it will be middle. Hubby and I both have long legs and adjust our seats too far back for the car seat to fit behind either seat. But in our F150 there us oodles of room so we will probably put it on one of the sides.
