I'm so excited to share that my son was born last weekend. During my pregnancy I would Faithfully read our support group, and this last week I've been resting and have missed you all. Labor and vaginal delivery was a total of 36 hours from start to finish. I had an idea to labor in the tub with the help of my Doula and midwife, but everything took a turn when my amniotic fluid levels were low and I have to be induced. Right now the biggest challenge has been breastfeeding and finding time to sleep. I also have some tenderness down there because of the epidural and the catheter. I'm afraid to look lol. Other than that I look at my son and cannot believe that I made him- it's incredible!!!
