How and when did you announce your pregnancy?

I'm curious when you told your family, friends, co-workers and how you told them about your pregnancy.

I know we should wait until after the first trimester to announce it to the world but I just can't imagine waiting that long to tell my family and close friends.

We told our families right away with our first baby (about 6 weeks I believe). I'm 12 weeks now and have only told my husband and two best friends, because I'm at a military course for 6 weeks (2+ down, less than 4 to go), and you're not "supposed" to attend these while pregnant. We're hoping to be able to hide it until Christmas, but I keep hearing that you show more quickly with each pregnancy. First on the left, 2 days ago on the right.

The first time we found out we were pregnant we told a lot of people by 5 weeks then we had a miscarriage. It was nice to have those people to go back to and cry to them but it was also very hard to go back to them and tell them we miscarried.

This time we waited until we were 8 weeks to tell our parents, siblings, and very very close friends. I also told my boss this time just incase we miscarry again she will know why I'm a mess and calling into work. The wine bottles are how we told our parents and the other pic is how we told our siblings and a couple close friends. We plan on announcing to Facebook at 10-12 weeks.

We told family at 15 weeks and announced to the world around 20weeks when we found out it was a boy! 💙
Had a miscarriage previously so this time around we were cautious about telling everyone.
