My doctor told me to have one normal period before really TTC. I will be going on my second month really trying having been off BC for almost 3 months.

This is my first month TTC so I don't have an answer but I have been off bc and using condoms for 8 months up until this month because my doctor told me I needed to be off bc for at least 6 months before TTC. She said it takes about that long for all the hormones to be completely out of your system and for your body to be regulating its own hormones in order to successfully and healthily conceive.
