Baby girl born at exactly 30 weeks

My labor did not go as planned. I went in Thursday night, 10/13/16, due to cramping and a thinned cervix. They decided to keep me for observation because I was 1 cm and 100% effaced. All day Friday I was having contractions but for some reason the monitor wasn't picking any of them up. They planned to send me home but I progressed from 1cm to 3cm. They started me on magnesium and gave me steroids for the babies lungs. After 24 on the magnesium they finally took me off and let me eat and get in the shower. All Saturday they babies heart rate was high and she wasn't very active. At around 10:10pm Saturday night they decided to start pitocin and break my water. They believed I had an infection and it was being pasted to the baby. I decided I did not want an epidural or pain medicine because it would make the baby too sleepy. At around 12:10am Sunday I was 4 cm and within 3 contractions I was at 10 cm. My baby girl Acelynn was born at 12:21 am 10/16/2016 weighing 3 pounds 1 ounce at 15 and a half inches. She is doing amazing for her little size but we have a long road ahead of us in the Nicu.
