Abnormal gestational sac shape. It is more tear drop shape than oval/round. I am 6 weeks along according to LMP, but measuring 5 weeks. Does anyone have experience with the outcome? I got blood work for the HCG levels and another US next week.

Mine ended up a blighted ovum at 10 weeks. Was measuring 2 weeks behind and never saw anything besides the sac. Hopefully it doesn't turn out that way for you! I felt pregnant up until my D&C in July.

Had the same shape at 7w and doctor said it was perfectly normal. I'm at 12w now and no issues. Don't worry.
As for the dating, it all depends on your cycle. According to LMP, I was 8 weeks, but my cycles are ~35days. So after that first US, I was dated at exactly 7w, which is accurate according to my calculations.

Found out I was pregnant very early, around 3 weeks and but has mild to moderate bleeding (pink and bright red) for a week before first ultrasound at 4 weeks and 4 days. My first blood test showed regular hCG levels n a Friday and then lower hCG levels the following Monday. I just had the ultrasound today and I havev an abnormal gestational sac. My doctor told me I will most likely have a miscarriage. I had to go do another blood test after the ultrasound and have to go back next Thursday at 5 weeks and 4 days for another ultrasound. Has anyone had this happen and come out with a healthy pregnancy/baby?

It's normal to be a little ahead or behind. Mine looked like this at 5 weeks and by 6 weeks there was a heartbeat, by 7, we could see a bean. Then a gummy bear, and so on.
