What do preterm contractions feel like?

Currently 33 weeks FTM. For the past hour my stomach has been tightening about every 10 mins. I feel pressure and my heart rate goes up. Idk if it's the baby pressing himself up or if it's contractions bc I can feel him moving in between.

A few days ago I was having what felt like period cramps to me all day. I didn't think they were actual contractions, but I went to L&D just in case. Well, they were contractions and I was dilating and effacing. If I were you, I'd take a warm bath, drink some water and try to relax. If that doesn't make them go away, I would go to L&D to get checked out.

Update: they gave me iv fluids to stop contractions and took a bunch of blood work since I was complaining about blood pressure earlier.  Everything looked great and contractions slowed down a lot. did an ultrasound baby was perfect. Weighting around 4.8 Oz  (this is an estimate and can be 11 Oz off plus or minus) doing a follow up with my doctor tomorrow.
