Late period and still bfn

My periods are fairly irregular with 40 to 50 days cycle. We are TTC. I ovulated on cd 24 and it's been 26 days since then. No major pregnancy symptoms expect intermittent nipple tenderness. Is there anyone who tested late for positive?
