Okay first off you CANNOT rely on this app alone to tell if you're in your fertile window. That's just an average time frame. To be able to tell you have to check cm, take ovulation tests and more. I would know as I use that as my method of preventing babies lol now to the science part

You can only get pregnant 7 days out of any cycle. The 6 days before ovulation (because sperm can live in your vagina for that long) and the day of. The reason being that's the only time the egg can be fertilized.

So my best answer is, if you went off this app, don't trust it. It tells me I ovulate 2 weeks in when I actually ovulate only a week in.

I have a girlfriend that conceived 3 days AFTER her ovulation week. She is currently pregnant. So, obviously it can happen.
