LEEP procedure worry.

I was called yesterday after a colpolscopy and biopsy and told I needed to come in for a LEEP procedure. Given I've never had one and I've read a lot of contradicting information, I'd love to hear your thoughts. How did the procedure go. Were there any complications ? Did you have troubles conceiving after ? I'd appreciate all the info I can get.
