am I pregnant??

Hi guys

So I've read up that this is quite normal with women who get the usual discharge before or after a period, but this has never happened to me before. I was suppose to start a fertility pill but instead of my period which was due, I got a brown discharge and it's been going on for the past 5-6 days. Could it be a sign of early pregnancy or am I just being too hopeful?
