do you do everything for your husband and are you ok with it?

My fiance seems hopeless without me i handle the cooking and cleaning finances, fixing thing etc etc he just doesnt seem to be able to handle things but yet gets mad about how i run everything and he has no say etc etc. my car has been breaking down on me and as a young woman who doesnt know much about car i feel mechanics try to get over on me so I figured he could handle this responsibility since he want to feel like more of a man that he says i dont make him feel like but he called on every decision didnt not do anything i asked until last minute. I feel i have to send him with instructions wherever he goes i want him to feel like a man and i want to be able to back off and know he gots it but idk what responsibilities i can give him or decisions if he really needs me for everything

No I dont. But when we started dating in college, he just didnt know a lot about certain things. So I did tell him how to do a lot of stuff at first, but he never asked me about them again. He learned how to do it for himself (cooking, deep-cleaning stuff like that).

There is a difference between being lazy and not knowing how to so something.

That sounds exhausting. If I were you, stop doing everything. I also take care of the finances because I'm just better at it lol. But my husband and I take turns washing clothes. I cook and he washes dishes. He doesn't cook much but if he does make eggs or pancakes, I wash up all the dishes. There has to be some give and take because if it you're overwhelmed with everything and he feels less of a man even though that's his fault not yours. He has to become more responsible I think. Maybe just be honest and speak up on it until he actually gets it.

I do a lot of things for my SO. I handle the bills and the groceries. I cook a lot of dinners (but so does he). I organise a lot of intricate and simple details about our life but it's just because he's not the organising type. I'm so into organisation and feeling like I have control so it works for us. I would probably be reminding him constantly to pay the bills if he was in charge of them. If it's something that causes conflict between you two, I think you need to sit him down and just talk it out calmly with him. Find out why he doesn't do things but then gets angry at you for it. And tell him your feelings too. Best of luck!!

My fiance handles finances and bills but I cook and clean. If something needs fixing that's him too. I feel like that's how it should be. I was away for 2 months, he survived just fine lol. I'm sure your man would too but he likes the fact that you do it all and are willing to do it all.

I do things for him of course, cook, clean and laundry, but he can very well do it all himself and he isn't a slob.
I just do my half being a stay at home mom right now.
