Anyone else got pregnancy induced TMJ?

Question

Apparently I have pregnancy induced TMJ (temporal Mandibular Joint disorder)
Where my jaw hurts like a b & also clicks when i eat or drink! 
Normally you'd get given antibiotics and anti inflammatory meds .... but, yh 😑😧
There's literally nothing that can be done! 
I'm just wait for my jaw to lock 😧

I didn't need to sleep tonight anyway .. or eat ever again!

I've had it since I was 4 and something that has helped me because my condition stems from anxiety. I usually stay away from caffeine before going to bed or any sugar and a nice warm tea. I still do it here and there and my husband wakes me up when I'm grinding my teeth  but its not like before

I've had it for a long time it comes and goes but usually happens when I'm stressed out (people tend to grind their teeth at night when they're stressed) my dentist gave me like a teeth guard to help prevent that and it worked well for me it was just kind of uncomfortable.

I've had it always. Try some excercise and stretches you can find on YouTube- use a heating pad to help the pain, but ice will keep inflammation down. Stay away from hard candy, etc. chiropractic care has been really helpful for me too!

I've always had TMJ and there's nothing you can do to get rid of it. It'll happen when it happens. It sucks when it pops out of place, but you learn to live with it.

I have it. But I've had it for as long as I can remember. You can go to your dentist and have an appliance made. Your dr may not be able to do anything, but it's very likely your dentist can because it has to do with your jaw.
