Quick rant

I get kind of annoyed when family and friends tell me I'm crazy for eating healthy or wanting to cut down sugar while pregnant. I posted on fb tonight about some healthy cookies I made so I could satisfy my craving without the sugar (used banana instead). A family friend commented telling me that I should eat up the sugar because since it's my first baby I'll lose it all right after he's born and I have a good metabolism so I'll be fine! I've been super bummed about my body since being pregnant and have already gained 20lbs at 23 weeks so im just trying to eat better and excersise a little more to stay in shape. I'm not "dieting" I eat plently and all the things my baby needs, I'm just trying to be smarter. I know she's just trying to encourage me that I shouldn't worry about my weight but come on, there's nothing wrong with less sugar!
