How to get out of an affair

It all started 3 years ago when I met this guy. We were both single and went on several dates. We had an immediate, strong connection. I can honestly say I had never felt that connection with anyone else. We ended up having a conversation about our future and he wanted to continue what we were doing without putting a label on us. I wasn't ok with that so I decided to move on. I found my now husband not long after I ended things with the other guy. We hit it off and things moved very fast. Months after dating my husband the other guy texted me and said he missed me and wanted to be in a relationship. I told him I was with someone new and he understood and left me alone. He ended up texting me out of the blue several months ago and it started as casual but then turned into us meeting up. At the time he texted me my husband and I were having several issues so I guess that's why I gave into him (not that that's an excuse for my behavior). We have hungout about 12 times in the last 4 or 5 months. We text constantly and have plans to meet up tonight. I have not had sex with him but we have madeout which is horrible. I was driving to work this morning and couldn't help but to think of how horrible I am and this whole thing is. I am selfish and disgusting. I would be devastated if my husband did this to me. This is why I want it to stop NOW. I do have feelings for the other guy but I love my husband. Do I just cut off all communication with the other guy? Do I tell him first that its over then block him on everything? Do I confess to my husband or do I stop all of this and just move on like it never happened? I am not asking for anyone to yell at me. I know how bad of a person I am. I am asking for any advice on how to get out of this situation as safely as possible. Thanks for any help.
