Fallopian Tube Flushing

My husband and I have been ttc #1 about a year and a half now. Found out I have a large ovarian cyst caused by endometriosis not long ago. I'm having surgery next week to remove it. At my pre-op appointment today my doctor was going through everything and was verifying we were going to be continuing to try. She said she was going to flush my tubes out while I was having everything else done. I had never really heard of it before. But I've done some research and seen some things showing positive results in helping fertility. I was curious if anyone else has had this before? And if so do you feel like it aided in successful conception?
