Do you ALWAYS have a period 2 weeks after ovulation?

If I take an ovulation test and it comes back positive should I always expect my period to start 2 weeks after that or if you have irregular cycles does that have an affect on it?

You should always get your period 12-14 days after ovulation. However, if you have a condition like PCOS, you can get a positive opk without ovulating. It's best to also do bbt, as that will confirm when you ovulate.

You look at your cycles in two phases .. The first part before ovulation is what can actually run "late" when your cycle is late or irregular. With your second phase you will have AF 12 to 14 days after confirmed ovulation. Sometimes a positve OPK doesn't necessarily mean you ovulated.
