Failed IVF what's next?

Hi we just had our first IVF transfer and it failed. Just wondering what everyone else's experiences were after. What were your next steps? How soon did you try again etc...

I would wait a couple of months before you do anything one to let your body recover but more important To mentally get your head around it all. I was fine initially but then it hits you so give your self time to heal and then build yourself up ready for your FET cycle so your in the best possible place - good luck

I did a fresh transfer IVF cycle in July and failed.  I am currently half way through my frozen transfer protocol.  We transfer on 8th if it all looks good on Tuesday.  I had 5 eggs to freeze, if this cycle doesn't work then we are stopping.

I did my first ivf cycle in May and it failed. I didn't have any embryos left over to freeze. I am currently on ivf cycle #2. Hopefully with more eggs and better results!

I just had a fresh cycle done at the beginning of the month but sadly it ended up being a chemical pregnancy. My beta was at 6 as of yesterday and I have another draw Tuesday which will hopefully be negative (under 3). I met with my doctor today and we have a plan in the works for a frozen cycle...I have 4 frozen blasts. Within the next week I should start bleeding which she's considering my period. I call in on day 1, go for blood work and ultrasound on day 2, and if everything looks good I'll start estrogen patches and continue them for 10-14 days. Once my lining is 7mm+ I'll start PIO injections and 6 days after I'll have my transfer. We're hoping to transfer 2 this time since this cycle and my first (MC at 8 weeks)  failed. It's such a roller coaster ride 😣 Good luck to you!!!

Did you do a fresh transfer or a frozen transfer? If you did a fresh transfer, did you have any embryos frozen?

I did 3 cycles. I did then all 2 months apart. When it fails you re visit the protocol and try, try again.
