Do you let your baby nap in the infant car seat?

I already know the dangers so spare the lectures please!!! It's the only way I can currently get baby to nap. Posting anon due to the guaranteed judgement.

I do if he's already asleep coming home from somewhere .. other than that no cause he hates it's other wise lol

I only do if he falls asleep in the car when we get home. I don't want to bother him and take advantage of that time to put everything away or get a couple things done before he wakes up

My son slept in his car seat for the first few weeks since I had to sleep on the couch due to csection... I didn't know there was an issue

I do, but I put the car seat in the pack and play upper deck and tilt it backwards so it's as if she's laying on her back.

I don't do it cause she won't sleep unless we are driving around. But sometimes after it she is still asleep and i manage to take her in the car seat to the house and leave her till she wakes..which is never like more than 20/ 30 min .

When my son came home from the hospital he refused to sleep in his bassinet, the only place he would sleep was in his (car seat) capsule. We let him sleep in it but laid slightly back/down (our capsule has a clip on the bottom which you can move to adjust it to suit the angle of the car's seat. Instead of having his head up right, he was more flat.

It's things like bouncers you need to be careful of where the baby is upright and the head can slump forward blocking the airways.

I don't put her in there to nap, but if she's sleeping when we get home, we'll leave her (and keep her in the same room as us, just in case).
