Can an STD cause a miscarriage?

I'm so worried of having a miscarriage, because I might have an std. I feel really itchy down there and it hurts sometimes when I pee. The doctor yesterday tested for any STD including UTI. Hopefully I'll get my results on Monday. I'm just so scared I'll miscarriage because of this. Would I miscarriage so soon, or do I have time to cure it.

You probably just have a UTI which I hear is common in pregnancy. You should be fine honey.

STD won't cause a miscarriage. Try to breathe and relax hun. It becomes a problem when you go into labor and have an untreated one. Gonorrhea untreated can cause you to go into labor early and others can cause birth defects if baby is born while you have one. But having one now isn't going to hurt.
