Sitting unsupported?

Question

How many of your kiddos are sitting unsupported? My 6 mo. old can sometimes sit for a bit, but it's only when he's bent over and using support from his hands.

My son can sit unsupported, crawl on all fours and is pulling to stand. He is learning too quick. Each child has their own pace nothing wrong with that. Our next one will probably be supper lazy and not want to do anything lol

My baby girl did the hand support thing for a few weeks before she cracked it. I'd say hes nearly there. I spoke to a friend yesterday who's 7 month old doesn't sit roll or try to crawl or stand. He'll get there in his own time.

My son was sitting up by 5 months. But if it makes you feel better, he just started daycare and the other two boys his age are no where near sitting yet. His teachers keep commenting on how well he's doing.  Don't worry. Your son will get there. I really worked with him a lot starting around 4 months. He's always had good neck control.

Lillian is 6 months on the 21st and loves to sit up and pull herself up to standing when she has something to grab, can scoot backwards and can roll completely over from both sides. ❤️️

My baby girl can sit all on her own and she will be 6 months on the 30th. Every baby takes a different amount of time! The doctor will let you know if they are concerned.

My LO is 6.5 months and is sitting unaided. She is not, however rolling either way!

Well looking at all your adorable, chunky, squeezable babies I think part of the reason my guy is having a difficult time sitting up is he is pretty lanky and skinny....he definitely doesn't have a big base to balance on haha.

Not yet. She will be 6 months later this week. She will sit with no help with the boppy behind her but flops over if she doesn't have that little bit of support.

Sitting completely on her own for almost 3wks now. She'll be 7mths on 11/10.

My little man is too preoccupied by his feet to really sit up. He holds himself up great with his hands but can't sit completely up yet. It makes me feel better knowing other babies 6 months old can't do it yet either, I was starting to feel like he was pretty behind. He was born 4/4, 3 weeks early.
