am i in labor ??????

FTM. 39w 3d not sure if i'm in labor or what i should do😩
since about 7pm my stomach on & off has been tightening up and within the past 2.5-3 hours there has been pressure in my lower abdomen my lower back has started to hurt and hasn't stopped and last may be TMI but my butt has been hurting.

could this be the first stage of labor?? what should i do?? please help

Well ladies, I was in fact in labor! Glad I went in when I did! Super fast labor, from first contraction at 6am to her being here at. 11am! How'd it go for you?! Is your baby here yet?

I was going through the same thing so I checked in with my doctor and it was only Braxton Hicks for me. It's just your body preparing for labor , so hopefully with a lot of walking , it can happen soon! Good luck mama!

Yes that was me yesterday and when I finally went to the hospital my water broke and I almost had the baby in the elevator 😳 worst pain I've ever felt but he was here within the hour I was at the hospital

My midwife told me true contractions are like touching your forehead. Braxton hicks are like touching your nose. And regular is like touching your chin. I've had tightening but none feel like my forehead :(. Maybe this will help you?

Real contractions are horrible. You can't talk or walk through them. You will know when your having real ones!

I would time them, real contractions will stop you in your tracks (you can't really walk or talk) and have a consistent pattern. I've been having Braxton hicks all day/night long for 8 days now :(
