Fertility window

So I just started using FAM instead of birth control pills and my app is estimating my fertile window with the green highlights. However bars on my CF and temperature I haven't ovulated yet but the green circles and my calendar are saying I did three days ago. Does the app learn and adjust as you enter more information or do I need to update the info so that it's accurate?
