vaping around baby.

(Thanks for the comments, came to a decision and my two cents is down below) SO just had surgery. Now he bought a vape since the dr said no smoking cigs. He's using it around our 8 month old. Never smoked cigs around her. Is it okay? Anyone have baby around vaping?  (I asked because I wasn't too sure, and wanted advice so whoever is all "common sense". How I see it after I searched articles after I posted is its just like a air freshener and nothing as bad as vaccines ;) <not anti vaxx {she's vaxxed}just how y'all saying chemicals like its some foreign object comparing the two >I'll take vaping over cigs around my daughter.)
