When should I test ?

Alright soooo my period is almost two months late I tested in the beginning of  october BFN my last period was august 26th ((my birthday)) my period is irregular but never this late but I'm TERRIFIED to retest ! but an older gentleman I work with told me today "congratulation " I asked him "for what" and he went on explaining that he has 5 daughters and 9 grandchildren he said "he just sees something and he knows I'm pregnant".. mind you this man knows nothing about me . So my question is should I wait till the morning to test or just take one tonight ??

UPDATE** I couldn't do it this morning . My nerves got the best of me . Going to try again tomorrow morning 🙁

Get a blood test. I've heard from women on here that it took a while for home tests to actually pick up on the pregnancies but a blood test from a doctor will confirm it 😊
