My MIL started talking this weekend about planning a family vacation for the immediate family next summer. We talked about the baby coming too since I'll give birth in April and she was thinking July or Augist. Today she told me that she's planning a cruise and babies have to be 6 months so I should figure out childcare for the baby.... Over my dead body will I spend a vacation or my vacation days without my baby. My husband didn't say anything to defend me which also made me furious. Why would she want to go on a family vacation without our first baby- her first grand child? I'm livid and hurt.
