Do you go or stay home???

Question

Let's say you only got 3 hours of crappy sleep collectively last night, and you're expected to meet up with your family in law at the pumpkin patch. You were up all night with the baby and have a sore throat. 
You go to their house every week, so it's not like they don't get to see the baby ever. 
Do you take your 4 month old LO even though you're exhausted and have a sore throat????

I need opinions because that's the exact situation I'm in right now, and I don't know if I'm sleep deprived and irrational for not wanting to go at all.

Also the family's feelings get hurt pretty easily, so I usually "suck it up" in these situations.

If you get sick, baby will probably get sick too and that's not good for anyone. So stay home and relax with LO 😊

How bout your family "sucks it up"? They should understand you need your rest. They're being selfish if they expect you to come out.

I'd say stay and home and rest, but I'm like you I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings so I would end up going.

It's stupid really to put others feeling first but if you're that type of person then that's how we are.

But you really should stay home

I sucked it up and did the family pumpkin patch thing had her on the front of me in the carrier and she slept the whole time 🙄 we will be waiting till she's 3-4 to go back.

If you trust them enough you could stay home get sine ready in while they take your baby to the pumkin patch
