period and pregnancy

Has anyone ever had their period and still been pregnant? My period was 5 days late last month and it was much shorter than usual (I have short periods anyway, but I always start when I'm supposed to) this month it was a day late. My hormones are fine so I know it's not pcos. My mom had a period for the first 3 months she was pregnant with me. My boobs and nipples are incredibly sore and they never are; even when I get my period. I'm not cramping, and I'm much more hungry than usual and I've been very very sensitive and nauseous(I threw up this morning and I don't do that when I get my period)
