How to tell when you are ovulating?

I can never tell when I am ovulating. I have irregular periods and can never feel my cervix. What would you recommend?

Check your cervical mucus (cm). After your period goes off its usually scarce  to creamy then sticky then watery then eggwhite(stretchy and clear). Watery and eggwhite are fertile cm with eggwhite of course being the best fertile mucus for sperm to live in on their journey to your egg!
