Hey everyone! So, I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience with some serious baby name judgement. Today we were seeing my husband's grandma and she asked about the name we chose. We told her we are naming her Emilia Lynn and plan to call her Emi or Millie as a nickname. She immediately was laughing and told us that she will have to find something else to call her because Emilia was too confusing and hard to pronounce and she doesn't like the nicknames. She then said, well Atleast the middle name is okay. Obviously I was pretty annoyed and can't seem to get over it. She almost makes me feel bad about choosing that name for our daughter. Am I overreacting?

Over all we have had positive reactions to her name but for some reason this just made me feel bad.
