explaining different theories?

Hi all. I was wondering, can somebody explain a couple theories to me? I was wondering how the nub theory and skill theory work. How can you guess the gender through these theories? I wanted to use them on my ultrasounds just for fun, but nobody ever responded to my posts, so I'm going to ask here so I can do it myself (not meaning that in a rude way, but I want to know how anyway.)
