Birth Control Pills ?? Advice please

Hi everyone ! My mom wants me on birth control , I've already been on depo for 3 months (one shot)  and I just would like to take pills , any advice ? Which ones work best or have least side effects ?? Also big #1 is how long it takes to ware off ! Let me know please any advice or tips would be very very helpful !

Shian , yeah that's why I don't want to take depo anymore I've been bleeding each month for 3 weeks straight literally /:

I've been in the depo shot for a year... I've had my period for a year, not worth it. I never stop bleeding .

Honestly, consider going with an IUD instead.  They are the most effective form of birth control available and you don't have to remember to take a pill at the same time every day.  The side effects can vary from woman to woman, most women have fewer negative side effects from the IUD than from birth control pills.  There are hormonal and non-hormonal options available and they are cheaper in the long run than other forms birth control, including condoms, the Depo shot, and pills.  Talk to a doctor about all the options at your disposal before you make a decision.
