I'm trying to watch tv and relax but this baby is moving a lot and feels like he's hitting my cervix I think. It's like sharp scraping pain only when he moves. Is that your cervix?

I've been having that pain since about 34 weeks. Thought it was dilation pain but I hear so many ideas to what it is. Pretty sure it's baby rubbing against cervix, but also help dilate you. When I had my first cervix check at 37 weeks I was a little past 3cm dilated. I've felt the pain A LOT this week. So I'm excited to see if I have progressed from last week! 🙌🏼

I'm a first time mom and I am 1 cm dialated. I get that sort of feeling down there ever since I was checked at my 36 week appointment last week. It isn't the worst feeling, but it scares me because I don't want my little one coming early. He needs to stay in there for me for the next 3 weeks. 🙏 Praying! I've also noticed that his movements have changed. It doesn't seem like he moves less, but the nature of his movements are different. They're more just subtle pokes and rolls, they don't seem as strong as they were before.

Yes. Same thing happens to me. My OB said it's what is more than likely causing me to dilate already. I was 1.5 centimeters dilated at 35 weeks last night

I've had this pain for a while. 39 weeks on Tuesday. I tried to check my own cervix last night in the shower and it was pretty low compared to how high it was at my 36 week appointment. 
My doctor won't check me until Thursday and hasn't checked me since 36 weeks. Hoping I am dilated a bit but I can't tell myself because baby's head is right in front of my cervix.
