Can extreme stress cause miscarriage early in pregnancy?

Just got into a huge argument with my husband. I'm 4 or 5 weeks pregnant and now feel cramps. Could I have caused a miscarriage by letting myself get so worked up?

One fight won't do it. Prolonged and sustained stress can cause issues

I get those too, baby is fine so far. I'm almost 8 weeks. Whenever I get even just a little worked up , i.e. Pets tear something up, I get the cramps

Also, my mom has been in a stressful / abusive relationship forever and a day and never had a miscarriage.
