incase you get pregnant on the IUD?

My hubby and I were talking about this earlier, so I know that is you do get pregnant and they take it out it can cause a miscarriage but what happens if you leave it in? Can you even do that ?

I'm testing tomorrow to see if I'm pregnant with an IUD I'm like 90% sure I am and it's very stressful. No, you can not leave it in. If the egg actually manages to flow down to your uterus with the IUD inside, the IUD could rupture the embryotic sac and become intertwined with the fetus. Causing either death or horrible things to happen (I'm sure you can imagine. If it's in your Fallopian tubes, it's called an ectopic pregnancy and they have to remove the fetus or it can (most likely will) result in the death of both of you when the tubes rupture. Something I learned today, if you wait too long to get it checked out and the fetus has grown rather large they will actually remove your Fallopian tubes as well... which means no more babies... ever. So if you do get pregnant just get it taken out.
