It doesn't matter what time of day it is. What matters is that you haven't consumed any liquid or urinated for several hours, like 6 or more hours. You're just looking for concentrated pee. That's why they say test in the morning, because most people sleep all night and have a good concentration. If you worked night shift and typically wake up at 10 pm, you'd test at 10 pm. Hope that makes sense.
