what reassures you in between US?

I have two more weeks until I see my baby again via US, but it seems like forever! What reassures you while you wait for the next US? Because I can't keep calm. I want to make sure my little babe is doing fine.....

I have a Doppler. That helped a ton until I felt movement. Now I don't use it very much unless I don't feel him move as much.

I know that at my previous Dr appointment the baby was healthy. I haven't had any bleeding, though at times I may have a little cramping. I attribute the cramping to the uterus growing. As long as there is no serious bleeding, I try not to worry. Besides that, this baby is in God's hands and I trust that He has good plans for momma and baby. Plus, I pray for good health for baby.

This may not help but honestly thinking about all the people hundreds of years ago who had no advanced medical care- they couldn't see baby at all and so many of them turned out fine. Also think of those on that show "I didn't know I was pregnant," if they can have a healthy pregnancy so can the rest of us lol

I bought a doppler before I could feel him moving. You can hear best after 10 weeks and tip: his/her heartbeat sounds like a horse running and early on search by the pubic bone. I was surprised how low I found him.

I trust he's ok. Now that he moves daily I know he's ok. I've also been able to feel him migrate around since week 10 or 11.

I gave in and bought a Doppler! I was anti at first but I try not to use it much and it just makes me feel so much better !

I only had one ultrasound at 20w. They've only started doing them relatively recently in comparison to the rest of history. I just trusted that everything would work out the way it was meant to, and prayed daily for my baby. If you're doing what you're supposed to do, there's nothing more you can do to change the outcome of the pregnancy. I hope that doesn't sound mean or unfeeling, because I do understand the worry!
