what trimester am I in?????

Ok so I'm a first time mom to be and this whole trimester thing is a bit confusing especially when people ask how far along I am. As of today I am 13 weeks so would that put me at day one of my second trimester or am I still in my first? Please ladies help it's so confusing especially when people ask how many months I am and they look at me crooked like they don't understand. How many weeks equals each month and what tri am I in?

I'd say you've just started your second trimester

2nd trimester begins @ 14 weeks, 3rd tri begins @ 28 weeks and even with your due date they can be off by 4-6 weeks +/- sometimes. It's just a ballpark but more easily determined if you know your exact date of conception.

You don't count a month any differently just because you are pregnant - so for me, the first day of my last period was April 20 so the 20th of every month is when I hit the next month.  October 20 I hit 6 months.
And I agree with the previous poster - each trimester is 13 weeks and 2-3 days.

I'm right there with you I think technically 13 weeks exactly is the last day of 1st trimester  and 13 weeks 1 day is the first day of your second  because technically that's the second day in the 13th week so thats the first day of the 14th week.......  Idk lol

Mathematically 2nd tri starts at 13w3d, but some people just round it to either 13w or 14w :)
