Baby's engaged????

Question

I'm 34 weeks and the baby's head is engaged!! Is this too early?? My midwife told me to start taking things easy but I'm a really active person and just doing nothing would make me go crazy!!!

Engaged means your baby's head is sitting right on your cervix so any contractions you get at this point will likely dialate you.  Take it easy and let. Any cook for awhile. Time for you to put your feet up and boss people around!

I'm 33 weeks and 4 days and my lil mans been head down for a couple weeks now!! I'm happy though because if he stays head down at least when it's time he will be ready and in the right position to come out!!!😊

My midwife told me my boy was head down ready at 32 weeks

She must mean that you have dropped? Engage usually means that it is progressing down the canal and you're affacing -- have you started to dilate yet? I would just take it easy for the simple fact you don't want your baby coming too early. Good luck momma. My baby dropped at 29 weeks, and the head is side by side of my cervix. My babe is already measuring pretty big? And I was told that I will start thinning and dilating soon.. I am 31 and 4 days now.

How do you know your baby is engaged? I have my midwife appiontment Thursday and I'm currently 33 weeks. My baby has always been head down and feels really low but no one can confirm to me if baby is engaged :( I have my growth scan next week I will be asking again. Baby being engaged is a very good sign I hear x
