Certain thermometer for BBT?

Do you have to buy a certain thermometer to track your bbt or will a regular thermometer work?

Answer

They sell bbt thermometers at local drug stores. The regular thermometer will say 97.6 but a basal thermometer will say 97.65. It has an extra decimal place

A reg thermometer works, but the Bbt thermometer gives a more precise measurement :) I use a reg thermometer & I do ok!
