cramps after TTC; can I be pregnant?! help

So this is my first month trying to conceive with my boyfriend. We had sex on Oct. 16th and lately I have been feeling period like symptoms; lower back, stomach cramps and even knee/leg pain. Can this be symptoms of early pregnancy?

They could be of course, but these symptoms are also pms symptoms and in fact both early pregnancy and pms symptoms are caused by the same hormones at first, as your body prepares for a potential pregnancy during the second half of your cycle. So unfortunately, it's really hard to tell them apart until a period has been missed. If you timed the sex on the 16th with ovulation, you should be in the second half of the infamous two week wait between ovulation and the period which is right where I am too. Take a pregnancy test on the day your period is due or after it's been missed if you can help it. Good luck and baby dust!
