Mastitis at 20 weeks
I woke up this morning with a large red, raised patch on the top of my left breast that was slightly warm to the touch. I called the nurse line, she made an appt for me this morning. Turns out I have mastitis! What in the world?? I knew that it was something you could get when you are breastfeeding, but didn't know you could get it otherwise. I am on 2000mg/day of an antibiotic for 7 days.
Has this happened to anyone else?
