Not for INDUCING..
So I just left my appointment. I'm 38+6, due Nov. 2nd. I'm still 1 cm. Next appointment is next Tues. Doc said they don't induce till 41 weeks. So I have roughly two weeks. I love my Doctor. He said straight up, being induced sucks. He said more painful, and longer labor.
