How often do mommies wear these wraps? And which brand do you prefer? My son is 7 and I never used them with him, but they make grocery shopping etc. Look easier. I was just curious

I used the Moby wrap and I loved it! I used it at the store, church, hiking, park, wherever I'd be up on my feet for a while and it was easier than a stroller or carrying a car seat. The only thing I didn't like about the Moby is how long it is, I'm only 5'2"

I used a moby wrap with my first until he was old enough for a soft structured carrier...then we switched to an ergo performance. The moby wrap was awesome because always wanted whoever was holding him to walk around...he would cry if you sat down. Grandma wore it, grandpa wore it, daddy wore and mommy (I) wore it.

I bought one with my third baby thinking it would be great to wear around the house for chores, etc. It ended up being so hot!! Not hard to learn the wrap and worked a few times through the grocery store. Definitely felt like I was always wearing an extra thick winter jacket.

I have a Sakura Bloom ring sling and it was a godsend with my colicky, acid reflux suffering second baby. Before it, I was losing my mind not being able to put her down for more than five minutes. It can get warm, but I just wore tanks all the time, which worked for me since I find most sleeves annoying anyway. I plan on using it with my next baby too. There is a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it can make life so much easier if your baby likes it.

You can make two of them for pretty cheap if you buy jersey cotton from a fabric shop and cut it right down the middle. No sewing since jersey doesn't fray. I got a boba wrap and laughed at how easily I could have made it. It got used pretty much daily for the first 9 months. After that a more supportive carrier like a ring sling works better.

I used a mamankangarou with my third.  Brands aren't a huge deal,  you can make one super cheap.  It takes a bit to get used to it,  but they can be a life saver.  I use my ergo more often honestly.

I never used one with my first or second, but plan on getting a LILLE' baby wrap and carrier this go around. I just need free arms to take care of my constant moving toddlers. Plus we have a Disney trip planned when the littlest will be only 8 weeks old, and is rather babywear than drag a stroller around the whole park. Easier for using too! I've heard boba and k'tan are also really good!
