Perfect Adventure
I went through my formative years and, let's be honest, most of my 20's believing that I just was never going to find a romantic partner owing to both my Demisexuality/Depression/ Anxiety and I had mostly made peace with that. That being said, I've been talking to this guy since May, finally had a date (my 1st!) in August and have been "official" since end of September (he's gotten many of my firsts). We've been on many dates and had our Netflix and Chill days but today was better than that. We did our usual dinner and a movie thing, which was nice. After all that however is what made it great. I help him change his flat tire in the pouring rain in a Wendy's parking lot. Then he got a pie at the local diner and we ate it with our hands (very messy) as he drove me home. We talked about how funny a picture it would be if a traffic cam caught us. I haven't laughed so freely and without abandon in so long. Then we sat outside my house and chatted till he had to go, then it was a kiss goodnight. It might sound silly to a good majority of you, but for someone who never thought this would happen, tonite was a perfect adventure.
