Where do you keep your hospital bags?

Our hospital bag is ready, as well as diaper bags. But my husband and I are both still working full time. Should I keep my hospital bag in my vehicle in case I need to leave from work? or should I leave it at home?

It likely depends on where the hospital is in relation to your workplace and your home. Is your house or work on the way to the hospital? That might make the decision easier. I'd also consider whether you live somewhere with a lot of traffic and whether you have a long commute. If you go into labour at 5pm on a Friday and live in a big city, you likely won't want to be stuck in traffic and worrying about your bags. Do you have a partner or a family member who could be in charge of bringing the bags in case you go into labour somewhere other than at home? Then it doesn't matter where you are - at the mall, at work, etc - you don't have to worry about this. Also, do you live somewhere where the temperatures are very hot or very cold? I can't leave my bags in the car because my diaper creams and such would freeze quickly. Consider these questions and more, then make your decision based on your own circumstances. Nobody else knows these details so you're likely the only one who can make this decision.

I left mine in my bedroom with a list of the last minute things I needed to grab (phone charger, glasses/contacts, purse...). It worked out well for me. And I had enough time laboring at home to be able to finish it.

My hospital bags are at home. My husband works 5 minutes away from the house and the hospital is also on the same street. It's too cold now to keep things in the car and things would freeze. I think if I was still working I would keep one of my car though!

I keep it at home. It is at least. A 15 minuet drive to the hospital with traffic , about 10 minuets without traffic.

I keep it in the nursery and will grab it when it's time. I didn't have anything ready with my first and everything worked out just fine. 
I am over prepared this time . I will also have my parents come pick up our son to stay with them because I don't want him waiting so ling. But other than that I will wait last minuet to get everything ready and go.
